Lab-Grown Diamonds V.S Diamond simulants
Diamond simulants, such as moissanite and CZ(cubic zirconia), look similar to diamonds but are not true carbon crystals. Simulants do not have the same chemical and physical properties as diamonds and may lose their luster after long periods of wear.
The property of doubling from moissanite can be observed through loupe.
Compared with diamond, the fire and luster of CZ is rather similar. And with the Mohs scale hardness states only 8.5, the facet line can be found blunter.
